Important accuracy note
The certificate reports measured results and associated uncertainty. While some equipment suppliers state ±0.05% of full scale, the laboratory cannot issue a pass/fail conformity statement against that figure because its accredited uncertainty is higher. Practical uncertainty is typically 0.3% to 0.8%, depending on the instrument’s repeatability, resolution and performance.
Before ordering
Please provide the make, model, serial number, rated capacity, required calibration points and a dimensional drawing for 200 kN and 500 kN units showing diameter and hole size. Archimedes will confirm suitable fixtures before those larger units are accepted.
Standard laboratory turnaround is approximately 10–14 working days. Customer courier charges, assessment, adjustment, failed calibration and non-standard requirements are quoted separately. Calibration records the instrument’s performance and does not guarantee a pass result.
