The Tomlin Wind Turbine Inspection Robot is a professional 6-wheel drive crawler engineered for the internal inspection, maintenance and condition assessment of wind turbine blades.

Designed to navigate narrow blade cavities, internal shear webs and composite structures, the crawler provides high-definition visual inspections while keeping operators safely outside the blade. Its compact aluminium chassis, powerful dual-motor drive system and specialist wheel design enable smooth operation on inclined internal blade surfaces and along structural webs.

Featuring a Full HD PTZ camera with 360° pan, 180° tilt, 10x optical zoom and integrated laser measurement, the system allows inspectors to accurately identify cracks, bond line defects, delamination, laminate damage, resin defects, contamination and manufacturing imperfections without dismantling the blade.

The rugged IP68 crawler combines powerful LED illumination, long operating time, wired or wireless controls and a 130m inspection cable, making it an ideal solution for wind farm operators, blade manufacturers, maintenance contractors and inspection specialists.
