Hi-Lo Gauge

The Hi-Low is a multipurpose gauge used to assist welding visual inspection. The Hi-Lo is typically used to measure misalignment, butt weld reinforcement height, weld preparation angle, parent material thickness, external joint misalignment, and fillet weld leg length.
