The HFE-100 is a portable ferrite content meter for fast, non-destructive measurement of residual ferrite in austenitic stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, weld metal and cladding. It reports results in ferrite percentage (Fe%) or Ferrite Number (FN/WRC number), making it suitable for weld inspection and quality control in chemical processing, power generation, pressure equipment, piping and fabrication environments.
