Reusable laminated magnetic flux indicator strips for checking the effectiveness of magnetic particle inspection (MPI). Placed on the test surface during magnetisation, the built-in artificial indications help the operator confirm magnetic-field direction and that the combined field, particles, application technique and viewing conditions are capable of producing an indication.
Available types
- Type 1 / Type G – General Purpose: for general industrial MPI applications and higher-permeability ferromagnetic materials.
- Type 2 / Type A – Aerospace: a finer, more sensitive version intended for aerospace, critical-component and lower-permeability applications.

Important: These strips provide a qualitative indication of MPI test effectiveness. They do not measure field strength numerically and do not replace a calibrated magnetic field meter where quantitative measurement is required.
