The PEAKMETER MS2308 is a high-end earth-resistance and soil-resistivity tester for demanding grounding-system surveys, commissioning and maintenance. It supports conventional multi-pole testing, selective clamp-assisted measurements and clamp-only testing in a rugged field case.
Key features
- 2-pole, 3-pole and 4-pole earth-resistance measurement
- Selective 3-pole and 4-pole measurements using a current clamp
- Clamp-only, non-auxiliary-pole testing
- Four-pole soil-resistivity measurement
- Wire-resistance compensation
- Interference voltage, current and frequency measurement
- Automatic frequency control for difficult electrical environments
- Digital and analogue dual display with 9999 counts
- 100-group data storage and USB 2.0 interface
- Alarm limits, averaging, time/date and test-point-distance settings
Typical applications
- Substation and industrial grounding-system commissioning
- Solar farm, wind farm and lightning-protection earth surveys
- Telecommunications tower and utility grounding assessment
- Soil-resistivity surveys for grounding-system design
- Preventive maintenance on complex interconnected earth networks

Standard and optional accessories
Test leads, alligator clips, auxiliary earth stakes, current transformer, clamp cable, USB cable, software and carrying equipment. Rechargeable battery and charger options may be available. Final supplied configuration is subject to confirmation with the quotation.
Calibration
Optional CNAS calibration is available through Peakmeter's qualified external calibration partner. A CNAS calibration report is already available for the MS2308 model. If a certificate for the specific supplied serial-numbered unit is required, calibration must be ordered before dispatch and is quoted separately.
