Advanced Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement
The Yushi UM-5DL is the data-logging version of the UM-5 Series ultrasonic thickness gauge, designed for demanding inspection applications where conventional pulse-echo gauges may struggle. Real-time colour A-scan and B-scan displays allow the operator to view the ultrasonic waveform directly and verify measurement quality while adjusting gain, gate and blanking settings.
The UM-5DL also supports through-coating measurement using successive bottom echoes, allowing substrate thickness to be measured without removing paint or coatings. It is well suited to corrosion inspection, coated components, coarse-grained materials, castings, aluminium, small-diameter tubes, very thin or very thick sections, rough surfaces and materials with internal irregularities.
