Important calibration information

Accredited calibration is offered only where the exact measurement, method, range and points fall within the performing laboratory's current accredited scope. Traceable or OEM calibration may be used where appropriate. If your process has a defined tolerance or pass/fail limit, include it with your request so the proposed range, points and measurement uncertainty can be checked before dispatch. Calibration reports instrument performance and does not guarantee that an instrument will pass.

Service classes

  • Class A – accredited calibration: supplied only when the exact laboratory, measurement, method, range and points are confirmed within the laboratory's current accredited scope.
  • Class B – traceable or OEM calibration: used where an accredited route is unavailable or not required, subject to customer acceptance.
  • Class C – assessment and quote: used for unusual, damaged, unsupported or technically uncertain instruments.

Typical instruments

Temperature and humidity instruments, light and UV meters, sound and noise instruments, airflow meters, pressure instruments, water-quality meters and other professional test equipment within a confirmed laboratory scope.

Before ordering or dispatching

Please provide the instrument make, model, serial number, measurement range, required calibration points, tolerances, certificate requirement and any deadline. Compatibility and laboratory acceptance must be confirmed before an instrument is sent.

Listed prices are planning prices for routine standard service within the confirmed scope and include ITS coordination and transport between ITS and the calibration facility. Express service, onsite work, additional points or channels, customer courier charges, assessment, adjustment, repairs, parts and unusual handling are quoted separately. Calibration reports the instrument's performance and does not guarantee that it will pass.

Important: Inspection Tool Specialists coordinates the service; the performing laboratory and final certificate class are identified in the quotation or job documentation. A service is not represented as accredited unless the exact work has been confirmed within the laboratory's current scope.
